AI literacy for leaders
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Attendees: 15 - 20
Level: Beginner to regular users
Industry: SME through to large public and private sector organisations.
For leaders in every industry, AI Literacy is no longer optional. AI tools increasingly shape the way busineses deliver services, analyse information, and engage with communities. This means that leaders need to understand AI, so they can identify both the opportunities and the risks.
This workshop is designed specifically for New Zealand leaders, equipping them with the knowledge to guide their organisation’s adoption of AI responsibly, strategically, and in a way that upholds public and internal staff trust.
By the end of the session, leaders will have a clear, practical understanding of AI; what it is and isn’t, how it can be responsibly applied in their organisation, and their role in setting the direction, policy, and tone for safe, transparent, and accountable use.
AI literacy for teams
Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours
Attendees: 40 - 100+
Level: Beginner to regular users
Industry: SME through to large public and private sector organisations.
AI is reshaping how teams make decisions, deliver services, and communicate with communities across the world.
The biggest risk for most teams is not that AI will replace people, or that we will fall behind in AI adoption, but that it will be used without literacy - and it’s already happening. We have an increasingly AI-competent society - people are familiar with using AI tools - but we forget that when it comes to AI; using isn’t the same as understanding.
This workshop provides attendees with a foundation of AI literacy and practical skills needed to balance efficiency with responsibility.
AI literacy for marketing and communications professionals
Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours
Attendees: 15 - 20
Level: Beginner to regular users
Industry: SME through to large public and private sector organisations.
We’re living in a world where AI adoption is fast outpacing AI literacy - and the gap is growing.
For marketing and communications professionals, AI opens up a world of opportunity; but provides an equal amount of risk as we navigate complex internal and external perceptions of AI.
AI impacts us in more ways than many other professions, we’re navigating:
What AI means for us, our industry, our sense of worth and its practical applications at our work
The perception of what AI means for comms and marketing from people outside of our profession
Supporting change management processes as AI adoption is communicated to internal and external audiences
Helping to fix things when people and AI go wrong.
It doesn’t matter what industry you are in, how senior you are, or what your job title says; being AI literate - understanding AI - is now an essential professional skill.

Even if that’s your organisation’s policy, I’d bet my house that people are using more than just Teams.
