Hi, I’m Lizi.

One of my clients once described me as “contagiously enthusiastic” and I still think that sums me up pretty well.

What I'm enthusiastic about changes; but I usually find something to keep me going through my work as a business owner, communications consultant, speaker, community builder, or my most important role as a mum and advocate.

Over the course of my career, I have worked with hundreds of organisations across marketing and communications. In my 20’s, I started my business, Little & Loud and grew it into NZ’s best consultancy (PRINZ, 2024), proving the concept of a regional PR agency.

We’ve donated over $100,000 of pro-bono services to our community, and I facilitate a group of 550+ marketing and comms professionals in my wider region. Like all good stories, there are some plot twists, and I am now a mum-of-three who has accidentally created a whole second business out of my speaking, training, and coaching work.

I teach AI literacy, personal branding, and communications to professionals and leaders across the country. Drawing on my experience going from a young single mum on the benefit to becoming an unexpected business leader; I talk about personal branding, resilience, imposter syndrome, and leaning into your own brain. I also coach and support other women in business or leadership positions.

More recently, I have begun speaking on Functional Neurological Disorder and my experience navigating a condition that changed my daughter’s life overnight.

I work around Aotearoa New Zealand, and am based in Palmerston North with my family. Outside of work, I love creating content and coming up with ideas; much to the dismay and enduring tolerance of my team, and my husband.

What it’s like to have me at your event

“It’s incredibly hard to dislike Lizi, she’s smart, relatable and humble; a combination that makes her easy to listen to and learn from.”

- Sam Rossiter-Stead, Environment Southland

My style is warm, enthusiastic, and jargon-free. Even without bribes, people often describe me as:

  • Engaging and relatable

  • Humorous and approachable

  • Technically strong but easy to understand

  • Practical, thoughtful, and careful not to oversell

  • Concise and fast-paced

I’ve delivered training and keynote sessions for leadership teams, elected members, senior council teams, professional groups, conference delegates, business communities, and cross-sector leaders nationwide. Choosing a speaker or trainer is a big deal, and I have a long list of people who have worked with me, booked me, and heard me speak that can share their experiences with you.

The highlight reel

It took years before I realised that it’s all of these experiences that make me good at what I do. Here’s a rundown of what informs my presentations and my work.

  • Starting a business from scratch, with no money, savings or line of credit, as a single mum in my 20’s

  • Growing an award-winning business while managing two pregnancies in three years

  • Being awarded NZ’s Top Small–Medium PR Consultancy (2024)

  • Shortlisted in the national Best Places to Work Awards

  • Advocating for my eldest daughter following the sudden onset of a neurological condition that changed her life

  • Donating $100,000+ in pro-bono support to regional organisations
